Here's another simple CRAP* poll; it's about how you relate to
achievements (or trophies, or whatever they're called on your
platform-of-choice)

20 Gamer Points: I actively seek out new games that have
achievements solely so I can get more of them,
no matter how easy and pointless they are, or
how much I dislike the game itself.
10 Gamer Points: I must collect each and every one! My game
isn't complete until every achievement is
unlocked
8 Gamer Points: I grab what achievements I can. The more
esoteric ones, though, I'll happily let
slip by
6 Gamer Points: I play the game. Occasionally, I'll go
briefly out of the way to grab an
achievement if it isn't too difficult
5 Gamer Points: I just play the game. I don't mind if I get
some achievements but I'm not putting _any_
effort into getting them
3 Gamer Points: I play games with achievements, but find the
whole thing annoying and dislike those little
popups telling me when I get one
1 Gamer Points: I don't really care, but since I only play on
platforms that don't have achievements, it's
all moot anyway
0 Gamer Points: I actively avoid games that have achievements

I got 40 Gamerpoints (see below, but you gave me "8" if you're confused).
In past years, I have gone out of my way to get full achievements in my
favorite games, but usually only to have a DLC mess it up. So I stopped
being a 50 (10) point person quite a while ago. And I definitely never
went to a Steam guide to figure out stubborn, esoteric, and/or hidden
achievements. (Well, maybe once or twice). I just let it surprise me. So
40 (8) is my niche.
If an achievement represents a significant and interesting challenge,
such as The Talos Principle II (eg: Solve [puzzle] by picking up only one
connector), I am definitely trying get that achievement. Doing massive
overkill damage? Lining up a ridiculous rail gun shot? Killing someone by
pushing them off a cliff? Totally down for that.
I also enjoy scavenger hunt quests, which usually have an achievement
associated with them. Especially if they involve spat-viz or POV skills.
(BTW, Gamerpoints are usually given in multiples of 5 and 10. I'm going
to multiply all your achievement awards by 5, for *correct* rewards of
100, 50, 40, 30, 25, and 15. That's why I got 40 Gamerpoints. Nyah.)
...I also got an achievement, recently added.

I WAS THE NIGHT (20 Gamerpoints)
*I played GTA IV, Fallout 3, Batman:AA, and Batman: AC when "Games For
Windows" was still a thing so I actually have Gamerpoints in them*
Anyone else have that drop? GPs from X-Box games don't count. You need to
have PC GPs.
