I wonder, is this going to be a permanent new addition to the PC

Personally, I've no interest in the things --gimme a computer with a
full keyboard anyday!-- but a lot of the kids seem to live and die on
their cellphones, so maybe a handheld PC is more appealing? Or will
they just shrug at the things bulkiness in comparison to their phones
and ignore it too?
I can see it becoming a niche but a large niche. So it comes to you next upgrade time and you buy a Steam Deck that you can put in a dock and it's fine to act as your PC but you can also take it with you. I would consider it if it wasn't for the fact that PC gaming on the go just isn't something that interests me.
