Do you have any games you'd rather watch than play, and if so what are they?
Nah, screw that... seems conceptually like cuckolding to me :)
I have been playing an excellent new release called EFXIL (squad based
tactical MP game, from Microprose of all publishers!). With only one
life per round, and the fact that as in real life death can come out
of nowhere, at least while learning the game the player tends to spend
more time spectating others. The game itself says "spectating is part
of the game". It's a great game that returns to old school realism
based tactical shooters and is long overdue, but I do wish they would
find a way to increase play time and reduce spectator time. I've
found ways to make sure I'm one of the last on my squad to die most of
the time as a way to mitigate the problem, but the problem with that
is it encourages an overly cautious form of self-preservation tactics
that are not always in the best interest of the team goals, and
teamwork is the entire point of these games.
