FREE GAME: Beyond Blue

Some people tick off the passage of time in weeks or months; I count
it in number of free games. Well, it's once again time to get one free
game older, 'cause it's Thursday and that's when Epic does its thing.
It's the best way to get older!

    So, this one is basically a walking sim, or -more precisely-
    a diving sim, since you spend a lot of your time under-water.
    It's much more focused than similar games ("Abzu", or
    "Subnautica", for instance), focused almost entirely on sperm
    whales and oceanography. It's got nice visuals, a vaguely
    edutainment feel and is relatively short. It's not a game
    that's going to floor you with its story or gameplay; it's
    just a quiet undersea vacation from the usual running-n-
    gunning of other games. 

    Note that Epic gave this one away before (back in April
    2023) so you it might be in your library already.
