I remember the MX518. I was using one before I switched to something
else. I think the reason I stopped using it was because I do tend to
use most of the buttons and it didn't have enough for me anymore.
One of the nice things I've found about getting old is that my purchases have become far more about what I actually need and not just because I can. My younger self got a Gameboy Advanced pretty much on a whim and I've only ever played it maybe three hours. I also managed to buy another portable Minidisc player even though my current one was less than six months old.
