And not totally undeserved. A lot of the engineering in Apple products

The one I do like is the iPad as it just feels everything works. Things
may have changed now but from people I know with Android tablets they're
ok but don't feel as though they have that user polish that iPads do.
Like I said, I don't dislike Apple. I have more than a few Apple
products in my home (including an iPad). I can admire how their gear
is put together. The Apple Vision headset was a marvel of technology.
But too often it's just not worth the price they charge, and they make
a lot of choices that cater to the outward appearance rather than
functionality.
(E.g., three things I'd like in my Apple iPad: a replacable battery, a
headphone jack, and a slot for an SSD card. But god forbid those might
mar the sleek shininess of the case, so all three are verboten. The
fact that it took Apple so long to finally standardize on USB3 is just
more evidence of this)
