I am going to beat Spalls since it is already March 2025 in the other side of the world. He has better not post a

Sorry Spalls, Ant got more replies and in the internet tradition that makes him have the official thread. :)
**** Earth Defense Force 6.
Finally finished this with my daughter. The last boss was very disappointing compared to 5. I even liked 4.1 better and that was just a set of ufo hex tiles covering the sky. The boss was a flying worm/dragon/alien which spent most of its time flying too far away and too fast to get much action and it was mostly just an annoying waiting game. After finishing it I can see the complaints others have, the missions are very repetative, the last boss sucks, and some of the enemies have invincible states where you have to wait to do damage or tiny weak spots that don't work well with controllers. The story and the QoL improvements over 5 save it from being a bust, but it's a step down.
***** Dark Souls 3
Still was playing this off and on, but I've played it too many times. I did get some PVP with the dark lothric knight sword and was doing pretty good for awhile, then suddenly I wasn't.
*** Dark Souls 2.
Return to Drangelic community event for fans of souls to go play DS2 started on the 28th, and goes for 2 weeks. For some reason this play has gone much better than my last ones, I was only invaded once, and had very little trouble in the first poison swamp, or near the skeleton lords/charioteer, which usually is hell for me. I went for a strength build with craftsman hammer which I've fully upgraded already and partially it was that that made it easier. I'm also appreciating the slower pace than DS3/BB/ER too, as I'm not straight off DS1 this time. I've also only been invaded once, while last time it was constant invasions.
I've reached The Gutter though which I quit on last time, and already died countless times, mostly to darkness and gravity. Co-op is pretty dead at this point too, now that I'm past the lower level areas.
If you ever wanted to give DS2 a try, now is the time.
** Armored Core 6
I gave this a quick try again, but it's just too fast paced and difficult for a mech game, and put it down after only a couple missions again. I believe this was my 3rd and shortest try I've given it.
*** Goat Simulator
I played a bit more of the MMO simulator, it was silly as usual, but got a bit annoyed with the difficulty of quests remaining so put it down.
