Steam Deck. I could have put it on a flashcart, but I can't get myself
to play on a tiny GBA screen anymore, and my PAL gameboy player is
interlaced only, which is not handled well by modern TVs.

Im going to be stuck for some time in the final dungeon, so might as
well plug the Deck to the big TV and get comfy on the couch.

Wait, do you have a GBA?? That's so cool!

Especially if it's equipped with an Afterburner backlight mod.

Uh, is this related to that Sega arceade game? If so, then I don't see how that is related to my web search to see what that is about.
Not sure if you're serious, but the biggest flaw in the GBA was a passive
LCD display. It was to improve battery life because it took disposable
batteries. Nintendo didn't release a lighted LCD handheld until GBA SP,
which introduced a rechargable. It inspired the DS.
I always thought the SP looked like crap. The original was much sleeker.

(Huh. It's actually a front light. Who knew?)
Anyway, when I had a GBA, I wanted an Afterburner in the worst way. It
was typical for me to play in my bathroom because it was the only place
that had the most direct light onto the screen.
