Hate AI? then why not use an AI-powered service to detect and warn you
about AI! That's the purpose of Razer (maker of overpriced mice) in a
newly announced partnership program that creates a protocol that
verifies that gamers are real-human-gamers and not bots.* It's a
single-sign-on that lets you log into the Razer ecosystem for
'enhanced trust and security' to 'enable “human-only” gameplay modes
is key to fostering fair competition and a more trusted gaming
environment'.

I'm sure it will work just about as well as the bogus N95 masks did.
I mean, pretty much the only ones buying into Razer's '1337 gamer
lifestyle brand schtick are the ones most likely to be botting in the
first place. And apparently a big part of this partnership is to make
it easier for people to sell NFTs. Nothing like associating yourself
with a pyramid scam while promoting it as a 'trustworthy' product.

Man, Razer used to be known for... well, not great mice, but they
weren't bad. But every new thing I hear about them, they're just
dredging the bottom of the barrel deeper and deeper. But AI is the new
hottness for tech companies that have no vision or ideas of their own,
so it's no surprise that Razer is chasing after it.
