Closest I ever came to this was playing a Half-Orc in Baldur's Gate.
However, there is an old CRPG called Phantasie, where I do believe you
can main a troll. I never played it though.
You actually need a Minotaur and a character that has died once in order to win the game because two locations have these entry requirements to the dungeon.
