I think it's a perfect time for a glut of WWII games. There's been a phase recently of few offerings. Americans have had more time to think about that war with two major wars taking place in the world now.
The last WWII game I played (excepting Call of Duty which I don't count) was Battle of the Bulge, a very slow TBS that always left me dry because I couldn't get past the early graphics. Think Risk-like graphics, a cannon here, an army man here etc.
