But certainly not when it's new, and not for $50 USD. (There's not
even a discount for people who own the game already). It's an even
harder sell knowing that there are fan-remakes* --also using the
Unreal 5 Engine-- that are fairly well-along, and will be be a more
honest remaster than the official version, which changes the gameplay.
And all the moreso since the switch to the new engine breaks all mod
support.

It's just not a game worth its asking price at the moment. It's
"Oblivion", Bethesda, not "Skyrim"; what are you thinking? "Oblivion"
was impressive for its day, but it was so supremely superseded by
"Skyrim" that the game has lost much of its appeal. Even "Morrowind"
is more interesting to me nowadays.

I'm sure eventually the game will find its way into my library... but
I don't expect that to happen any time soon.
