What an oddly low-fi mix of games this month.
I agree, Shadow Gambit looks at least halfway decent, that JRPG might be
nice but looks a bit too generic. Maybe I'll install the Jango Fett game.
I keep wondering why I actual subscribe to Choice at all.

Because $12 for 8 games is a remarkably good price, even if half of
them aren't to your taste? And you don't have to skip months if there
aren't any that appeal to you? And they make The Number go "bing!" eon
the first of every Tuesday? ;-)

Do you ever consider the consumer aspect of paying for your games? Each dollar spent is a dollar voted for the types of games you enjoy. If you wheel & deal to get every title, you're not really helping the industry decide what's good. I know spending $12 can feel like a massive burden and you'd rather buy a Vente mocha latte at Starbucks,
No, no I wouldn't. Starbucks is horrible coffee and I don't even like coffee much.
The problem is the vast majority is shovelware, and you don't really know if you're going to like a game without playing it. If I could 'vote' by trying games then paying for the ones I really like I would certainly do that. But even then there's too many games to even try any more.
Yes, yes, there's video reviews, but I've been burned by that before too.
