* Dark Sector (2008 3rd person FPS)
Oh man, "Dark Sector"; I haven't played that one in a dog's age. I
didn't know it was part of the Warframe franchise.
I wrote a monthly-review of this back in April 2011; my opinion was
that it suffered from extremely uneven gameplay and its story and a
character were a mess. But I praised it for its atmosphere and visuals
and thought it well-worth the price ($4.99, apparently), although I
was clear that I'd never recommend it had it been more expensive.
But these days, even a $4.99 game has to compete against good FREE
games, so don't feel bad about giving up on it. There's just too many
other games worth playing than lingering on an aging game that
struggle to be worthy.
Well I haven't given up on it yet. Got a glaive weapon now, and of course I had to see where that went being a big fan of Krull.
It's been o.k.
I vaguely recall the protagonist as being something of a whiney
schmuck. ;-)
Yeah, he seems a bit addled too.
