I got Kerbal Space Program for free in 2023. I had installed it and my
son at least played it for a bit.
Now I notice that the game isn't there anymore. It seems to have been
removed from the store completely.
Hmm. My experiences don't match yours.
Like you, I received it as a freebie in January 2023 (it was a
late-season Xmas give-away). It's still in my library.
It's also still available for sale in the store

As far as I can tell, all the games in my Epic library are still
there, all the way back to the first game I got (Shadow Complex).
Barring your being a naughty-puppy who has done something against the
Epic EULA and they removed the game for that reason (unlikely), odds
are you have some sort of filter or sort order that is making it
harder for you to find the game (or maybe you just THOUGHT you added
it to your library but never actually did?) Either way, you probably
should contact Epic support for assistance.
I actually think it might be some regional license issue. I found a post from another person on google who says the same thing.
And I can see it still in Launchbox, where it was imported from Epic before. So I definitely had that one before.
Lets see what they say about it.
