I had x-no-archive set for years, but this is the oldest "real" post I
could find. Someone quoted it. Of course, it's about Steam. Probably a
reply to Steamkiller.
I was trying to think of the name of the "SAY NO TO STEAM!" character
just yesterday. I used to think it was a sock of someone that posted
here in another name.
I'm feeling brave (ish) so D*R*K SMRT smart used post at around the
same time, as well as a certain person using the moniker of a well
know British department store. I think the former used to use deja
news to look for posts containing his name and go off and post a
sharply worded reply just to teach that nasty person a lesson in life.
The latter may well have been the very same person. He had the same
caustic, antagonistic posting style and seemed to have the same
superiority complex.
I remember Eep always banging on about Trespasser (what a weird game
that was) but he also made a first person view mod for the original
Max Payne which I did enjoy using.

like most other groups did. Although this group was given very mild
treatment when compared to groups like n.a.n.a.e and its .misc sister
group.
Those were the days!
