It's a busy day in Epic Freebie-land; we got three games to go
through. Work, work, work; grabbing all these free games is getting to
be a chore! Maybe Epic can start paying us for the privilege? ;-)
On the to-do list today is:
* Deliver At All Cost
https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/deliver-at-all-costs-a30c8d This was unexpected... if only because it's such a new
game. The goal of the game: deliver your cargo before time
runs out, using a top-down/isometric perspective in a world
of wacky physics and destructible terrain. It looks neat
and probably will sell like hot cakes... so why it's being
given away free I don't know.
* Gigapocalypse
https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/gigapocalypse-fdc53b A retro-themed side-scrolling shooter. Your kaiju walks
right and destroys anything in his way. It's okay, I
guess.
* Sifu
https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/p/sifu The one with the Kung-Fu fighting. Unleash your inner Bruce
Lee in this stylish brawler. It's an extremely well-made,
if somewhat limited in scope, and the only downside is that
I'm not that much of a fan of brawling games. But I'm
willing to give this one a chance; it just looks too cool
to miss out on. But it's also a repeat (from December 2024)
so you may already have it.
Well, that's over and done with; we're free for the next week. Tune
in then for the next exhausting chapter of "what games is Epic giving
us for free.. THIS WEEK"?
