In fairness, it has been 12 years since the last "Grand Theft Auto"
game, and 7 years since the last Rockstar release. People are getting
a bit antsy.

And there's reason for that. Say what you want about the gameplay (and
the audience!) but when Rockstar pours a lot of effort into their
games' design. The world building in impressive... not so much in
scale but in detail, and the production values have always been
top-notch. There is reason their games are so well-regarded as they
are, and why new games are so hotly anticipated.
