Yeah... and the problem with this is that
a) What you're buying initially is a stripped down version
of the overall game. Announcing a roadmap is them telling
you, "Pay us full price and we'll give you an incomplete
game which we'll finish later!"
b) There's no guarantee you'll ever get those features, since
--if the game flops-- these plans tend to be abandonned and
the developers shift their focus and resources elsewhere.
Announcing a road-map with your game at launch isn't necessarily a
sign that it will be a BAD game... but it is pretty much a sign you
should wait for the "Game of the Year" version to come out first.
