I was going to gather some Regrowth potions, the only thing that cures DRAINED. It was about that time I started to feel the lack of a thaumaturgist. I've recently restarted Wizardry 7 with an alchemist and a bishop in addition to my usual Samurai. It dawned on me that even though the community is down on bishops, saying they are too divided, I know I'm going to overrun the 100s on Thaumaturgy and Theology. That means I get the top spells from both schools. This is because Wizardry 7 has a much higher level cap than Wizardry 6 and 20th level is a likely state of existence.
- Outrun (the arcade original)Outrun is another of those games that I "appreciate" more than I
One of the cool things where Retroarch has an advantage over classic
Mame is the controller presets. With OutRun, that means that triggers
and analog sticks are already seto to emulate the how the arcade played
with analog pedals and driving wheel.
actually "enjoy". It's undeniably a great game, but it's never one
that managed to hold my attention incredibly long. It probably didn't
help that my first encounters with the game were on the Apple ][* and
later on the IBM PC... in all its CGA and PC-speaker glory. Even when
I encountered it later on other platforms, I always think of those as
'updated versions' of the titles I originally played. And the
experience I had playing those ports was not very good.
It was only much, much later that I realized how innovative the game
actually was and could start to appreciate the tech and design. But I
just can't endure to play more than two or three stages before I grow
bored/frustrated.
I have no idea how this will be adapted into a Michael Bay film,Good god, no. Why? Wasn't "Battleship" bad enough?
>* or at least, with an Outrun-like game. I'm not sure it was the
actual title since Mobygames doesn't show an Apple port. It definitely
wasn't on a legitimate disk <cough cough argh me hearties cough> so
who knows as to its providence
