As terrible as it is, Gearbox isn't the first to do that. There have
been other games that have sold 'premium' editions that included
everything* /but/ the game (I think Ubisoft was famous for this).

I don't get it myself but I'm not the sort of person interested in all
the tchotchke2 and knick-knacks they sell anyway. I mean, there MUST a
market for it, but damned if I can understand the logic of buying all
that crap for a game I can't even play?



* I say "everything" but often these super-premium editions are
divided up so there's no way you can get all the crap without buying
multiple versions because some items are exclusive to different
editions. Marketing people deserved to be scalped for shit like this.
