If you only think about the number, then you end up with a bunch of games half played. How can I focus when I have 500+ games? I've been aiming to come up with a reward scheme. This means that when I "win" or "finish" a game, then I can buy two more, kind of like a hydra. There's two problems with this. What is the definition of "winning," in many games, and isn't it quite different for a game like Divinity II and Dawn of War? Second, it takes discipline not to buy games without this permission to myself. But I really get a kick out of a game when I complete it. It's very satisfying. If I can get this going then maybe it will motivate me to finish more games.
