More the idea. A Fantasy action/rpg where you get to fly around on a
dragon and fight other dragons, dragon riders, as well as incinerate
ground forces.
So Dragon Strike and Drakan: Order of the Flame, maybe Eragon?
Oh, there are lots of dragon-riding games if you look.
Games like "Divinity: Ego Draconis". Or "Panzer Dragoon Saga". Or "The
I of the Dragon". There was some limited dragon-riding in "Elder
Scrolls V: Skyrim" too. Let's not forget "World of Warcraft" either;
they added dragon-riding in one of the add-ons. The Drakengard games
had dragon-riding and so too (I seem to recall) did the "Drakensang".
Less RPG but it has dragon-riding are games like "Lair" and "Crimson
Dragon" (both rail-shooters, mostly). "Ni No Kuni" isn't combat heavy,
but you do get a friendly dragon you can ride. They aren't quite
dragons (they're close enough if you squint) but you can ride some of
the beasts in Monster Hunter Stories too.
