Well they did seem to care about some employees, just not the female
ones.

To be fair, the executives charged were pretty miserable to their male
colleagues too, although their worst behavior did seem aimed at their
female counterparts. In the Ubisoft case, things like blowing smoke in
people's faces, cracking whips over their heads, and farting in
people's faces were all reported behavior. Add into that the usual
slurs and shared pornography, I'm sure a lot of men were made
uncomfortable by their bosses behavior too (the Blizzard case was
similar, even if the actual acts weren't the same).

It's probably more accurate to say that company cared about protecting
their executives' rights to be assholes. After all, why become an
executive if not to persecute your lessers, right?
It's the Aristocrat <--> Peasant mentality - I'm above you therefore you
have no rights and I can do whatever I like.
Frankly, other than a lot of programmers being introverts, I'm surprised
there haven't been loads of mass shootings on the executive levels of
these companies.
At least some of these retarded ass monkey executives seem to have that
same attitude of the old-school Aristocrats; "I am ordained by GOD as
your better, I will do what I like, you will do what I like.
