Is there any part of $175Billion for loyalty-screened, masked,
private-army troops targeting and aimed at Democratic strongholds that
bothers you?
The fact that you split the country into Republican and Democratic
strongholds bothers me.
ICE is hardly "private-army troops".
Aimed at cities that welcome illegal immigrant criminals is not the same
thing as "aiming at a democratic stronghold."
Unless of course you are saying that "democratic stronghold" and "hotbed
of crime" are synonymous.
You cast your line/net where the fish are.
You look for the criminals where they are, not at random or where you
know they aren't.
1) "Hotbed of crime". For many years it has been known that undocumented immigrants commit SIGNIFICANTLY less crime than citizens.
2) They are everywhere. Trump emphasizes "enforcement" in politically blue areas because he is targeting the politicians in those areas.
3) "Democratic stronghold" = "hotbed of crime" is actually the opposite of the reality. States that are strongly Republican actually tend to have higher crime rates.
