Unfortunately the Trump administrator doesn't really care about what the law says. The part I find most strange is those that are the most vocal about American values (whatever they are) are the ones cheering him on.
Their version of "American values" come from the Bible. And many of them are finding out the reality of what they were advocating is NOT what they actually want and some of them will probably die as a result.
Another strange thing to me, normally what I hear from Christians when someone points out 'problematic' parts of the Bible is that's Old Testament so doesn't count for reasons. Now it seems to be don't listen to that nonsense from Jesus as he's obviously a woke leftist.
