Holy crap this is a good one. Now I own the first six games. I really
need to get going on this series. I am only up to playing IV.

Thank you Spalls for not forgetting its Thursday!
I have to admit, I was a lot more excited about this game than I think
it deserves, because I thought they were giving away "Civilization
VII", which came out a few months ago, and not "Civilization VI",
which is almost 9 years old now. Don't get me wrong, getting the
platinum edition is nice, but it's not a forgive-every-sin type of
game. Especially since it's something I already own on Epic anyway ;-)

But this tells us two things:

1) There have been so many Civilization games I can't
keep track of which one is the most recent, and
2) Civilization VI made incredibly little imprint on
me that I can't differentiate it from the other
games in the series.

Oh well. I guess we'll see "Civilization VII" as an Epic freebie in
2034. See you all then! ;-)
