Well, as far as I'm concerned the whole series went downhill after II and I don't want to bother with an account on Epic, so pass.
 

I played a lot of both II and III but I can never remember which one I liked more and being so long ago I can't even remember which one was which. IV I enjoyed but not as much. I bought V but I think by then I was all Civ'ed out and didn't even manage to complete a full game.
My favourite Civ game though isn't even technically a Civ game, Alpha Centauri.
