As I type this, I have an image in my head of that kid from the
Simpsons crying, "Stop, stop; he's already dead!"* because, yeah, it
seems like I've been doing these silly Prime Gaming announcements a
lot recently. But don't blame me; it's Amazon's fault for having a
mid-month sale that disrupted our regular schedule! I'm just trying to
get us back on track!

* Besiege (w/DLC) (via Amazon)
This is one of those games that's less about the gameplay
and more about just fucking around with the physics engine
and watching it do silly stuff. Use the provided tools to
build various siege engines and use them to attack your
targets, watching the buildings fall apart from the impact
of your cannons and trebuchets. It's not a very deep game,
I guess, but it's satisfying in short bursts.

* Endless Space 2 Definitive Edition (via Amazon)
I'll be frank; I'm having a hard time remembering anything
specific about this one. It was another in a long run of 4X
space games, but between it and games like "Stellaris" or
"Sins of a Solar Empire" I'd be hard pressed to say what makes
this one any different. Reviews seem to indicate it lacks some
of the depth of those other games, which make it a good starting
point for people new to the genre. Sounds good to me, I suppose.

That's it this time; not very many games but that's only to be
expected given that it's only been a few days since the last update.
But we'll be back to our usual schedule after this (Amazon willing!)
so Prime will have two weeks to recharge the line-up.

Until then,.

Wow, is the Amazon well running dry, or are my interests that narrow?
Neither game looks super fun.
