One of the problems with Apple's "dumb terminal" design of millions of
users logging into Apple servers at any given microsecond, is that when the
network to the matrix goes down, everything stops working.
 Which happened today.

 Verbatim:
"Apple's iCloud service suffered an outage today which appeared to affect
a number of other Apple services as well. A number of users flocked to Down Detector to report issues with iCloud.
The outage prevented people from accessing services connected to iCloud
like Photos and iMessage such that they couldn't sync or download.
 The problems began around 11:30 a.m. Pacific/2:30 p.m. Eastern.
A quick glance at the Apple Status page revealed a mix of products went
down, including iCloud Web Apps, Find My, Photos, and more.
While reports slowed down from an initial peak of around 900 at 12:30 p.m.
Pacific, it was a steady decline. And the Apple status page didn't
officially return to normal until around 4:15 p.m. Pacific.
The outage lasted for just over 5 hours."
Let's see how the Apple trolls claim that the iOS device is not a dumb
terminal in light of what happened today - which is fact they can't deny.
I noticed absolutely no problems using my iPhone during the outage.
 Sorry (not sorry).
I didn’t even notice that there was an outage until I read about it.
Yep, our old iPad Pro didn't suddenly stop working either. We don't even use iCloud for anything on our iPad nor my Mac.
It's just the local village idiot "Marion" / "Arlen" spouting his usual know-nothing ignorant anti-Apple crap ... the moron has absolutely zero clue about anything, and has apparently never even used any Apple devices.
