Why do you think any operating system other than iOS needs to be logged

I could give a shit about needing an Apple account.
Would on of you ignorant uneducated Apple trolls please explain to Tom Elam
that "I could give a shit" doesn't mean what he "thinks" it means, please.
The fact none of you could get accepted to a college is clearly evident.

When I had Android
phones AND tablets I had a Google account. In fact, I have had Google
and do have Microsoft and Apple accounts on all my devices.
The fact that this Tom Elam has no education past high school is evident in
that comment above, in that the difference is the account isn't REQUIRED
for those devices to download and install apps. That's the difference.
The difference isn't in the account; it's in the requirement for it.

Nothing bad as happened, and in the Google and Microsoft cases that has
been a very long time. I also have Google Drive, Google Photos, YouTube
Premium, Google Maps, News and use Google Sheets on a regular basis.
Those are on all my Windows computers and Apple devices. My laptops are
subscribed to Office 365. On my iPhone and iPad ForeFlight is subscribed
to the company's services. Required for every 28 day chart updates.

So go twist yourself all up trying to avoid using OS sign-in accounts.
Why bother - except for severe paranoia?

Frankly, I don't think you know a thing about using your devices to
their full potential.
Heh heh heh... of course you think I don't know how to use a device.
And yet, you clearly know absolutely nothing about Apple or Android, Tom.
The only operating system that requires an account (which itself, now
requires 2FA, which essentially requires you bring a phone with you
everywhere you go or a second device - which is just absurd)... is Apple.
No other OS OEM requires that. Just Apple.
FYI I have a PhD in economics and statistics. I have followed the tech sector since I bought a TRS 80 Model 2 in 1980 and used in to start a small business. I was the first person in the company to bring a microcomputer to the office. I demoed Visicalc and a word processor. At that time we all had IBM 5250 series dumb terminals on our desks.
From the 5250 we went to IBM desktops running DOS and Lotus software. We did not get internet/network connections (Token Ring) until about 1993/94 when 3.11 Windows for Workgroups came out. We also had a PDP 10 network up and running before that.
So yes, I have a long history using everything from DOS command line to the latest Windows and Apple operating systems. Also Android up to about 5 years ago when I upgraded to Apple iOS.
