A user has asked if there is a way to modify \hline to produce a wavy line to use as an indicator that a tabular setting is suspended and resumed, eg (use monospace to view)
\begin{tabular}{|l|c|r|}\hline
abc&d e f&3.1415926535\
\wline[\baselineskip]\wline
xyz&q r s&2.7182818284\hline
\end{tabular}
==========================================================
+-----+-------+--------------+
| abc | d e f | 3.1415926535 |
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
| xyz | q r s | 2.7182818284 |
+-----+-------+--------------+
I don't immediately see anything on CTAN to do that, but I may have missed it or not been searching for the right term.
