... which reads to me as a "goodbye and good riddence!" note.  After all the time posters have donated to PO, we might have hoped at least for a more cheery "so long and thanks for all the fish", but I guess PO doesn't see things that way.  Anyway he's disappeared in the past for long periods (months) then finally returned, so we'll see.
