Several of my recent posts (e.g. Flibble's Leap) were AI generated and I
don't mind admitting it: AI is a useful tool.
FTAOD, I have no objection to the use of AI to generate articles,
whether wholly or in part. I /do/ take exception to the use of AI with
intent to deceive, but that's another matter. In the present context,
I wasn't worried about new articles that are AI-generated, but about the
prospective use of AI to auto-reply. If two or more "authors" climb on
that bandwagon, we could easily finish up with thousands of articles/day
comprising "'tis" -- "'tisn't" -- "'tis so" -- "no 'tain't" ... exchanges
instead of the current hundred or so.
