"the butchery" indique un abattage général, l'avis s'adresse à tout le
monde.

C'est bien à un charcutage général du français que vous vous livrez sur
fllf.

Si vous vous adressez à une personne précise, comme dans ce contexte,
"Stop butchering the French language" ou "Stop butchering French" est
plus authentique.
 
Libre à vous de parler comme un étranger qui a lu un roman de trop par
Dickens si vous voulez, mais la forme de votre phrase est aussi mal
placée que son fond.

Autrement dit, je n'avais rien abattu.

Est-ce que tous les francophones pensent la même chose en toute question
de langue ? Non. Est-ce que cela veut dire qu'ils se trompent ? Non plus.
