MEDIA: H-1B Seekers Can Sue Over Visa Revocations for Alleged Fraud

| The plaintiffs argued that the visa revocations were procedurally
| deficient because USCIS notified only the employers and not the
| workers themselves of the intended sanctions.

| The revocations followed warnings last year from USCIS that high
| numbers of duplicate lottery registrations made on behalf of
| individual workers didn't represent legitimate job opportunities.
| The agency promised fraud investigations and possible criminal
| referrals in response.
|
| In a similar case filed last year, a group of Indian participants in
| the Optional Practical Training program sued over denial of H-1B
| visas linked to fraud findings they weren't offered a chance to
| contest.
