| Hundreds of thousands of new student visas are approved every year,
| according to the State Department, many of them for people extending
| existing visas or changing to a different type of visa as their
| educational status changes.
|
| Dr. Rasha Alawieh, a nephrology specialist and an associate
| professor at Brown University, was deported in March after ICE said
| she returned to the US from a trip to her native Iran, where she
| attended the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
|
| Alawieh originally came to the US on a J-1 visa to study at three
| American universities over six years but changed to an H-1B visa for
| skilled workers when she took the position at Brown, according to a
| court filing by her lawyers.
Which Big .EDU presidents and deans will miss their loan repayments
if Kristi Noem orders Todd Lyons to block them from ICE.GOV's SEVIS?

groenveld@acm.org-- "At a certain point President Trump is going to have to make adecision on further support. If Trump exits the proxy war, that'swhen the real internal battle with the CIA will likely surface. Thisis a very interesting dynamic to keep watching as CIA Director JohnRatcliffe appears to be a bystander, incapable of stopping the
independent elements of the CIA from operating their own agenda." -
