There are voters who have not internalized this Florida law is just a
charade since school age children have a wider selection with Internet
access.

Ahh brings back memories from my youth. I think I was around 12 or 13 when I found a Stephen King book in the school library and it was quite good (I still think I have my own copy of the book somewhere).
Then, in swedish class, we were supposed to write a story, and inspired by my recent reading of Stephen King, I wrote a gory horror story.
The teacher was furious and called my parents saying writing these kind of stories was completely unacceptable, and I was scolded by my parents as well.
So that probably stopped an aspiring author right in his tracks. ;)
Jokes aside, from that point on, I only wrote the bare minimum when it came to writing stories in school. My creative output (which was never shown to teachers or parents) came during my pen and paper roleplaying games.
Ergo... imagine how peaceful life would have been with some good old censoring! ;)
