I guess this means the ANZUS treaty has gone by the wayside.

Article mentioned an airline pilot noticed, and reported these ships,
but unknown if Intel was aware or not.

I believe Donald has a beef with paying taxes, but its unclear if his
intent is to stimulate US arms sales, weaken other nations, or what.

It appears Europe may buy from within, not from US unless needed.

So if America's global allies increase their expenditures, is Donald
going to look the other way when an aggressor picks on one?  His NATO
rhetoric suggests he's not concerned (isolationism viewpoint).

The Australia-United States alliance has been one of the most
significant and enduring partnerships in international relations since
the Second World War. Built on shared democratic values, strategic
interests and deep historical ties, the alliance has evolved from
wartime cooperation to a comprehensive security, economic and
diplomatic partnership.
...
The formalisation of the alliance came with the signing of the ANZUS
Treaty in 1951, a tripartite agreement between Australia, New Zealand,
and the United States. While initially designed to counter potential
aggression in the Pacific, ANZUS became a cornerstone of Australia's
foreign and defence policy throughout the Cold War.

"US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth told NATO that Europe's security
would no longer be America's No.1 priority. European nations had been
freeloaders on America for too long. As sure as night follows day, a
US administration will eventually say the same thing to Australia, but
with more justification, and much more devastating consequences,"
Sheridan added.
