Of course! Putin nuking Ukraine
"The EU and the Group of Seven nations (G7) froze some 300 billion
euros ($323 billion) of Russian central bank assets following Moscow's
invasion of Ukraine. "
https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/eu-gives-details-its-measures-regarding-russian-central-bank-assets-2024-02-12/Russia on Wednesday described the EU plan as banditism and theft.

I never gave this much thought....this money could be frozen forever
or taken if Putin nukes Ukraine.
As noted yesterday, all of those US/European manufactured products
(planes, industrial, etc) could not be repaired with parts or
tech-help from these countries if Putin nukes Ukraine...is most likely
the outcome.
Would Putin gamble that noting will be done if he nukes....only
toe-hold Putin has now is that natural gas going to Europe.
If Putin wants a neo Cold War, it's up to him. Just Russia/China
doing business...
whip up the passive western world into a fury.
I suspect NATO/US/etc have marked Russian locations for an in kind
response.
