How about wearing a mask because one is peacefully protesting, and is
being threatened with all types of future repercussions simply for not
agreeing with the status quo?
In the last fifty years, I'm aware of law enforcement taking pictures
and IDing persons. IIRC, there have been abuses in TSA's files where
local officials falsely 'banned' people for irrelevant reasons.
Since WWII, when solders are discharged, they received a DD-214 form
(Army for sure) which coded the person's behavior via SPN #. So,
Uncle Sam was branding the "cattle" and when applying for employment,
an employer might ask to see this form. Needless to say, some people
got screwed via SPN #.
There are various databases that an employer might use. If working in
retail, for instance, and an employee gets caught stealing, chances
are, they may never work again in a retail store. If a truck driver
says "take this truck and shove it," a good chance they will never
work for a major outfit again.
future repercussions
Private sector has used Uncle Sam's DD-214 in previous years, and with
today's databases, this practice will continue.
Oh, did you hear about Internet tracking....and people who get fired
after making bad remarks about their company on Facebook/etc.
Private sector and law enforcement are both hungry for our data.
Unless a person is tidy bowel clean, I believe others are leaving
dirty laundry here/there for private sector and INTEL to inspect.
Needless to say, credit bureaus look for other dirt.
How about wearing a mask because one is peacefully protesting
When in Rome....if there is a mask law, the officer will say, "it's
the law."
With AI in time, a mask may not work....employers/Intel want to know
who you are...that's the bottom line.
