I'll sidestep the Dem-vs-Rep conversation and point out, it's also bad
news for any American who thinks Congress should do its job and the
power of the executive - any president - should be reduced.
I strongly suspect Americans want a stronger president because Congress
is a clown car of asshats unable to accomplish even the basics, like
budgeting.
The Founders gave Congress the power, assuming Congress would be staffed
with leaders, not idiots. They assumed wrong.
By the way, imprisoning Trump is/was a terrible strategy for keeping him
out of office. New parties now, the two we've got both suck
donkeyballs.
