Wiki
Global average Internet speed in 2005: 1 Mbit/second
https://futuretimeline.net/data-trends/2050-future-internet-speed-predictions.htmStill lots of people on dialup then - "The Pew Internet Project's May
2005 survey shows that 53% of home internet users have high-speed
connections at home,"
https://www.pewresearch.org/internet/2005/09/21/findings/I highly doubt in 2005, any forward thinking person could have
predicted what Youtube could be. In other words, serendipity played a
future role, not her thinking then for buying Youtube. High speed
internet is not 1 Mbit/second...later tech advancements were required.
