Judge rules Breonna Taylor's boyfriend caused her death, throws out
major charges against ex-Louisville officers
A federal judge has thrown out major felony charges against two former
Louisville officers accused of falsifying a warrant that led police to
Breonna Taylor's door before they fatally shot her.
U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson's ruling declared that the actions
of Taylor's boyfriend, who fired a shot at police the night of the raid,
were the legal cause of her death, not a bad warrant.

A U.S. Justice Department spokesperson confirmed to CBS News that the
department is reviewing the judge's decision and assessing next steps.

No, if the police department did not issue guns, then this death would
have been prevented It's the police department's fault.
I mean, they falsified a warrant and tried to break into an apartment at
night. How was the guy to know this actually were actual police officers
executing an active warrant if they neither properly identified
themselves, nor were actually performing a lawful action, nor had any
reason to be there in the first place.
Either Americans can stand their ground or they can't. According to this
judge they can't.
