EV are not even close to being ready to be rolled out to the masses. First energy generation must be solved in europe, then the energy grid must also be fixed, then... public chargers have to be built, and _then_, there might be a place for 20%-30% EVs, and now we're about 15-20 years into the future.
Note that VW and lots of global car manufacturers are now cancelling their plans to go EV only by 2030. It is impossible, and I am happy that it means yet another failure and humiliation for the eco-fascists of the european union! =D
