I use X mainly for humorous vids, interesting pics, historical
tidbits, but I'm not aware of this group moving on to Bluesky.

There was another replacement called Post, but each user, sooner or
later, would have to cough up some monies to post/view.  It appears it
went belly up.

I've just joined Bluesky as a toe in the water; it seems to be quite a
civilised place.  The thing that most attracts me is that it claims to
be decentralised, hence uncensorable(?) and that other services
e.g. Mastodon etc.(?) can sit on top of the same underlying architecture
and communicate with each other.  I don't understand how this works.
