Once Trump realizes that the public perceives Elon Musk as the "shadow President', he will find a way to severe ties with him. Trump's ego will never allow a co-equal.
And let's not forget the ego of Musk! I see it as obvious and inevitable that the two will eventually clash. Then there will be beautiful fireworks!
