Victoria wakes to scorcher as millions feel the heat on public holiday
Victoria is braced for a scorcher this public holiday, with
temperatures set to reach 42C [107.6 F] degrees in Melbourne this
afternoon.
A total fire ban has been issued for parts of ?the state, including
Melbourne and Geelong.
Victoria is also facing gusty winds of 70km/h to 80km/h in some parts
of the state.
