Up to $852,000: How much Trump ends up paying for each deportation
flight
Synopsis
President Trump's administration has initiated deportation flights
using U.S. military planes, significantly increasing costs compared to
DHS-chartered flights. A C-17 flight reportedly costs $252,000, and a
C-130E flight could cost up to $852,000, contrasting with DHS flights
costing $8,577.

Elon Musk's DOGE setting its sights on the penny
Each penny cost 3.69 cents to produce in fiscal year 2024, according
to the US Mint
Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is eyeing ways
to slash government spending. One of its first targets could be the
penny.

What someone at the Treasury Dept. needs to do is figure a way to get everyone with a penny collection to turn them in. Even if they offer $1.50 for ever 100 pennies, it would stand to make a significant savings over 3.69 cents per penny.
