Judge Carl Nichols, whom Trump appointed during his first
administration

He is a judge of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance
Court.  Also,  U.S. v. Steve Bannon, no. 21-670 (D.D.C.)

Nichols was the judge for the 2022 trial in which a jury convicted
Steve Bannon of contempt of Congress.

As such, it would appear he supports US's constitution, and the rule
of law.  Being on the FISA Court would suggest he will not bend a knee
to the T-Borg.

The wagons are circling the T-Borg, but congressional Rs are without a
spine
