i learned recently that mom was considered brilliant, she had secret
government clearance (they came in trenchcoats, either the fbi or cia, i
forget, and took her away for interrogation and knew everything about her, she
hailed from jewish communists, they followed my grandfather, eventually the
family fled the country, long story, anyway, the government even knew the
magazines her roommate at college subscribed to, etc....) anyway, so she
helped design the mainframe. they were both computer programmers, working on
